Quiet, variable speed shower pump - recommendations

Hi
I'm getting a bathroom refitted (no shower at present), and I have a gravity-fed system. I'm going with thermostatic mixer shower, but am probably going to need a shower pump to get a decent shower. I'm looking for something that's quiet(ish) and also variable speed as it might empty the cistern too quickly at full speed.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

All pumps fixed speed
You need a 50 gallon water tank to prevent pump starvation
Pumps are noisy, regardless of brand. Stuart turner is known as the best
Sit the pump on a dense 50mm paving slab, it will absorb a good chunk on the noiseHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
As above. I recently fitted a Stuart Turner "whisper quiet" pump to replace an ancient New Team pump. It's ever so slightly just a teeny weeny bit quieter than the old one.
If you want a slower flow rate you turn the shower control down a bit. We had an additional cold tank fitted in the loft & a bigger hot cylinder.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
