Unfortunately I have not got a case worker.
I am not going to respond to Halifax now,if anything I shall go to CAB.
Let them take me to Court, they wont get anywhere as they simply cant get any more if I don't have any can they!?0 -
Can you answer the question on payments on the credit card please.
I know this is hard so try to stay on track.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Ignore the trolls as well, they gain pleasure by lecturing the unfortunate and sick in morals.
Just wish they would boot them from the forum.
Yes I have made payments up until 1st June 2012.0 -
It is not statute bared then.
They can not take what you do not have and you can ultimately become bankrupt if the pressure for a CCJ.
Both will be statute barred in the next couple of years so do not make any token payments.
Batten down the hatches and wait it out.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Cheers Mark.
At the moment they are trying to pressure me into making payments by trying to set up a repayment plan.
They know damn well I haven't got any money!!
I'll sit it out, only 4 years to go, however let them take my to Court, I've got plenty to put in defence!!0 -
Can you sell your house to pay off the debt?0

Hi
The form the have asked you to sign is so they can contact your Dr is because they are trying to help you. They will change their contact methods and may well write the debt off. Unfortunately , they can't just take your word for it as everyone would say the same thing. if you really are unwilling to do this the best thing to do is get a debt management plan in place. Make sure you use a free one such as CAB, Step Change or Christians against Poverty . The latter may well be the best one as fewer people know about them so generally their waiting times are less. You'll pay them a £1 a month for the rest of your life but contact will stop0 -

At the risk of being called a troll - are you sure you have that right? If they get a CCJ against you I don't think that will fall off 4 years from now.
National Debtline are telling you that some of the points you are raising are not valid, so it may be best to make sure you are right before turning up at court convinced you are going to win.
The first step would be to get your GP involved as once Halifax have proof, they may not even consider contacting you again.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220 -
OP - You seem quite defensive and seemed to have an "I don't care what they do" attitude but you need to face the fact that you do owe Halifax money and, as correctly mentioned before, they are unlikely to just forget about that.
I appreciate you have health issues and, if writing letters to them hasn't helped, maybe it's time to give them stronger 'proof'. Halifax won't simply accept your word.
I wish you all the best!0
