PIP does not have indefinite awards, the maximum without reassessment is 10 years.
Not everyone has moved over - I'm still waiting for my invitation.0 -
As I claimed PiP aged 56, the indefinite award is due for review as I reach the age for my retirement pension.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

I thought the dla indefinite claims was going to be the last to change over? But as above there is no indefinite claim on pip. Also on dla if you claimed for terminal illness they paid up until you passed, ( A friend of mine was given 6 - 9 months and they paid her for 8 years until she passed) but on the new rules on pip its a maximum of 3 yearsit might not be much, but its better than a kick in the teeth:rotfl:

I will most likely lose mine since I am a anti austerity campaigner but im prepared to go to tribunal with full medical evidence which the DWP will have a hard time proving im not disabled.0

Indefinite- adjective - lasting for an unknown or unstated length of time.
Neither PIP nor DLA are forever - it just means, and has always meant till it changes, timetable of changes here including the recent question on 'aid or appliances' :
[URL="The proposed change would see a reduction in the number of assessment points that can be awarded for needing to use an aid or
appliance to carry out two of the ‘daily living’ activities which are assessed.
The change is planned to be implemented for new cases and re!assessments from January 2017. It would mean that people who would
have scored points for use of aids and appliances may in some cases no longer qualify for PIP."]The proposed change would see a reduction in the number of assessment points that can be awarded for needing to use an aid or appliance to carry out two of the ‘daily living’ activities which are assessed.
