Ikea kitchen worktop

Little kids tend not to worry if there's a problem with the worktops in your kitchen. Most toddlers i know would happily eat whatever they're given, they won't expect a 3 course meal. Or even hot food.
They've offered to replace and install it for you, i can't see what the issue is ?0 -
Their offer is fair.
They are paying for replacement and fitting it to your standard.
You are being rude claiming that their fitter will not be good enough, when you haven't even seen the standard of their work.
Let them fit it, and if it isn't good enough, THEN come up with another solution.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Visidigi no need to get funny I'm not stupid also if you read the article properly IKEA have admitted it is a manufacturing fault on the worktop.
Nobody called you stupid. I also read the article, just because they have said its a manufacturing fault doesn't remove my advise being relevant, even on your replacement. If you already have one fitted you better make sure Ikea replace it when they replace the worktop...
It's looking like your attitude is everybody else is the problem (won't do to standard, not good enough, no trust, unreal expectations, want compo, etc etc).0 -
Something tells me nothing will ever be to the OP's standard.0

Sounds like youve got two choices. Accept their reasonable and legal offer or dont and live with it / replace at your expense to meet your standards.0
