Samsung phone - cannot make and receive calls

I've got an odd problem with my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime phone. I can't make calls. If I call a number it just says dialling for a while and then the call ends. I can't receive calls either. If someone tries to call me I just get a missed call text. I can send and receive texts without issue. Any idea if the problem is with the phone or if I've accidentially disabled some feature?

Have you tried rebooting the phone? Does the problem still exist?
I would contact your mobile provider and make sure there are no known network issues in your area.

Followed the link and it was indeed a caller ID issue. Thanks for your help, I should have Googled for a troubleshooting guide myself before asking in here
