Broken washing machine

My washing machine started making some funny noises a few days ago, the filter was full of stringy white plastic, so i cleaned it and today I tried it again. But now the drum seems to have come loose, it's dropped down and will hardly turn.
We had the bearings done a few years ago, it must be 10 years old now, so is it worth getting it repaired? I don't want to waste a call out fee if anyone here knows what the problem might be and knows it's expensive.

10 years old?
You know the answer to this.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
It sounds like at least bearings, maybe more. You won't know exactly what needs doing until someone takes it apart. Only you can decide what to do, personally I'd be straight onto the AO.com.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
