Electric built in ovens - no plug/cable?

Whether you can use your existing set up will depend on the kW rating of the oven-it it's too high for a 13A plug into a ring main then it must be hard wired to a dedicated cooker circuit.

It's easy enough but you must be "competent". Asking the question probably means you aren't "competent" enough.

I could do it myself and have done so in the past many times but then I know what I'm doing.

Ovens do still come with plugs if it only needs a 13amp supply. A quick google search found this one in Argos, there will be loads out there.
