Switch by Energy helpline-now saving I'm not eligible
Options
Had an e-mail on 23rd February from The Great British Collective saying
We did it! Our winter collective has managed to get EXCLUSIVELY our cheapest energy deal for 5 years
Had a look and did a comparison with the MSE collective deal Sept 2015 and was about £87 cheaper. Supplier is EON (same as currently) and I dont incurr the £30 per fuel cost for switching as the deals with EON.
Deal closed on 14th March and with nothing cheaper signed up on the 8th march.
Got an e-mail accepting my registration and with minutes of signing up for deal an email tilted
Completed switch to new energy supplier via the great british switch from customer services at energy help line.
Nice and easy switch I thought until I got a phone call last night to be told they couldn't find my registration and I wouldn't be switched to the deal.
Advised that i had e-mail confirming registration which I agreed to forward to customer service and was advised they would contact me today.
Got an e-mail today from CS saying not eligible rung them to discuss but no one available and because so busy will ring me back tomorrow.
To me looks black and white
1) got offer on e-mail
2) Got email confirming registration
3) Got confirmation e-mail confirming switch.
So if not accepted cant possibly see how it can be my fault and will be asking the energy helpline to stand by the deal.
Am I missing something and anyone else had the same problem?

Dont you have to pre-register for a collective fix?.
I'm not sure how it works as I've never done itNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

Why are the comparison site saying you are not pre-registered, if you have sent them a copy of the email you received from them confirming your pre-registration?
If the answer really is that you don't know because no one answered your call, could you think of what you could possibly do to try and resolve that issue?0 -

Yes sent them a copy of the registration email, waiting for them to call me back0 -
CS from the Energy Helpline has rung me and said I was not eligible. However I had looked at the original offer email which says
Our Winter Energy Collective is now open for switching and you qualify for the exclusive super cheap deal as you are an established member of our email list. It’s the cheapest energy deal in the UK right now.
They asked for a copy so forwarded this to them and they say they will look into this but are recommending that my switch be approved, so hopefully sorted.0 -

Was with co op until Sept 2015 cost pa of £1068 cost for same units with Energy Helpline EON deal £750, pleased with that saving0
