Is the Sweatshop chain of running shoe stores (founded by Chris Brasher) now just another part of Mike Ashley's Sports Direct empire? Has the same happened to them as Karrimor and Field & Trek? And Lillywhite's in Piccadilly?

Google would be a better place to ask that question.
Do you have a consumer rights issue we can help with at all?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

No clue. Why don't you have a Google and find out?
Do you actually have a consumer rights issue, or just one with Mike Ashley?0 -
The sweatshop website is operated by SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd. whose registered address is SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd., Unit A, Brook Park East, Shirebrook, NG20 8RY, Company Number: 03406347, VAT Number: GB 898 439743.0

The answer to that would be yes, and has been for about a year now. Crying shame imho, as they were a very good sports retailer.Manxman_in_exile wrote: »Is the Sweatshop chain of running shoe stores (founded by Chris Brasher) now just another part of Mike Ashley's Sports Direct empire? Thanks JJ, thanks neil.
I agree it's a pity. I went into their recently opened local store today and was disappointed to see it wasn't like the old Teddington shop. When I saw the Karrimor shoes I guessed it must now be part of Sports Direct.0
