home Insurance covering Matching items

Saga have continually put up their annual premium. They do offer matching pairs as a major selling point. and it is something I require on my Policy What other Insurance companies offer this facility. I inquired at Liverpool and Victoria and Admiral and they both advised me this was not option on their home insurance policies

John Lewis might be worth looking at. You could also approach a local insurance broker (not a swintons) to see if they can suggest a policy.

Companies like Hiscox and Chubb will most likely offer this cover as well but the policies are likely to be more expensive than Saga.

Direct Line Plus and Churchill Plus policies have matching items cover. It usually isn't included as a part of a standard policy.

I managed to negotiate a £35 reduction after a lot of haggling in my Saga Home insurance premium this month. Next year i will undertake a search for other insurance companies offering Replacement cover for Matching Sets insurance that is covered in their policy. I am fairly sure there are cheaper options than Saga who tend to be more expensive for everything but it is matter of finding which insurance companies offer this facility.

Direct Line pLus includes it, and I think Nationwide does.

Hi, I have worked in insurance for a number of years and have just left due to childcare. I cannot recommend any individual company because I would hate it if you were in a claim situation and got knocked back and I advised you to go there. The only thing I can suggest is check in a search engine Home Insurance Plus Products or Unlimited Home Insurance and those types of companies with those plans tend to offer matching suites and sets.

    Hope this helps
