Booked holiday - hotel not available?

Hi,
Hoping this is the right place to post and was wondering if anyone can offer some advice please?
Basically, booked a late holiday last night with lowcostholidays. Got no confirmation email from low cost holidays, but had the usual booking reference and did get a text from jet2 saying that I could check in online.
All checked in and sorted online, then i get a phone call from low cost holidays this morning saying that neither my flight nor my hotel had been confirmed.
Told them thats impossible because id checked in online with jet2, to which 10 minutes later they said "oh yes, we can see it now"
They then persisted to tell me my hotel wasnt booked as there is no availability, and have since offered me one alternative which I have declined because the reviews are awful.
Am I entitled to a full refund? Or should they persist in finding alternative accommodation?
Is there anything more I can do?
Thank you in advance if anyone can offer advice.

What do your terms and conditions state? Your contract is the first place you should start.0

You may have booked flights and hotel separately and if you have the flights but no hotel then I suggest you look on booking.com or laterooms to see if any hotels available. If it's late notice you may have to stay a few nights in different hotels, not ideal but you may prefer that to loosing all your holiday.0

You'll need to check the terms and conditions that you agreed to at the time of booking and it should tell you.
It's highly unlikely that you will be eligible for a full refund as the flights are still available for you, you can however get a refund on the accomm if they can't find you anything more suitable.
I suggest looking at the Low Cost website to see if you can find any accomm that you think would be suitable and then putting that to them. You should have a price breakdown that tells you what you paid for your original hotel so the nearer you can get to that price the more likely they are to agree to it. Obviously it's not your fault that the hotel is no longer available so you could push for an upgrade or better hotel but there's no legal obligation for them to give it to you.
If they can't find you a suitable alternative then you do have the right to get a full refund on the hotel costs only but then you would need to find somewhere of your own to stay and if it's a late booking you might find that your options are limited.Lea

Thanks for all your advice today.
Kept the flights, but they have refunded my hotel and transfer costs (although cant pay back to the card today, takes a few working days?).
New hotel booked on booking.com as advised. Hopefully this one wont get cancelled.
