school ski trip

My daughter was due to go on her 9 day ski trip next week Friday 25th March, however on receiving final arrangements and information last week from the school this date has now been pushed to next day Saturday 26th March. The trip is still due to come back on the same day so they lose a day. I have paid a total of £800 in £100 monthly payments, am I entitled to some of my money back for that loss of a day? What do I do? Thanks in advance for any reply or advice!

If the total trip cost to the school is less, then they should refund a proportion per child.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

That would depend on why the trip has been moved - if the company who are providing the parts of the trip have moved it, and its in their T&Cs with the school that they can do that, then you might just have to swallow the cost.
Surely you've spoken to the school regarding this? They would be the first place you need to contact to get information and answers as they hold the contracts with the suppliers.0 -
Surely you ask the school for some details first before an anonymous web forum?
To be honest my sons school ski trip this year was over £800 for a week, and excellent value as he had a great time.0 -
I suppose it's similar to a change in flight times which we've all experienced at one time or another.
I'm surprised when the school informed you of the change of date they didn't explain why but since they obviously didn't then ask.0
