I have posted a Planet Rock comp HERE to win a year's SKY TV package.
It asks for "geographical" rock songs or bands and I thought it would be fun to see people's suggestions, and also to give non-rockers some ideas if they want to enter.
to start us off:
BANDS:
Nazareth
Kansas
Asia
Europe
Montrose
Boston
Hanoi Rocks
Leningrad Cowboys
SONGS:
Kashmir - Led Zeppelin
Australia - Manic Street Preachers
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dani California - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Panama - Van Halen
Passage to Bangkok - Rush
London Calling - Clash
Hotel California - Eagles
Dakota - Stereophonics
My Woman From Tokyo - Deep Purple
Parisienne Walkways - Gary Moore
Dallas 1pm - Saxon
Beverly Hills - Weezer
Boston Tea Party - Alex Harvey
Stockholm Syndrome - Muse
