Quick one from me.
Should be nother NSD (not that I'm counting).
Pulled some ingredients from the freezer for my dinner tonight - a full Scottish breakfast.
Hoping for an early tonight.

Morning,
I had a lovely weekend and kept myself busy. Saturday became quite a spendy day as I had a haircut and got a few small xmas presents too.
I go on holiday on Thursday morning which will be nice. I've a handful of books to plough through which I'm sure I'll make a good dent in. Whilst sipping on a beer.
So working the next 3 days and I'll be offski!0 -
Oh how lovely. Where are you off to?
We’re going to London on Wednesday for a couple of days which will be great if I’m toothache free!
Have a great time.0 -
Louby - I shall be disappeared to the south of Spain, Mijas, for 5 days with family. It'll be spent doing pretty much nothing but eating, drinking and reading!
Hope you manage to enjoy the big smoke and the toothache has subsided.0 -
Hey Speky
Sorry for being AWOL for so long... just wanted to say that don't be in too much of a hurry to find 'the one' and settle down. You're only a young thing and there's plenty of time ahead for that... You've come so far this past year - take some time to enjoy being on your own in your own home and other things will fall into place. You'll know when you're ready. Not giving up

I've returned from holiday!
A lovely break with family. Absolutely loved it. Came in under budget too.
Looking at the month ahead, it's a busy month so I'll need to tighten my belt I think. In saying that, I was also watching my spends before the holiday so I feel I've not been out with my pals for ages so I might try and sneak a little night out in. Although they never stay little.0 -
Glad you had a good holiday, you didn't miss any good weather here in sunny Scotland while you were away.
Don't worry about finding the future Mrs Speky - enjoy your life now, she'll turn up when you're ready for her to.“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”

I'll check back later today with a more detailed post. Conscious it's the start a month and need to up date my goals.
All is well.0 -
Career
Goal: Achieve my bonus targets in work
Update: I’ve been told I’m not a million miles away but nonetheless, I’ve yet to see a penny. Meeting this Friday in which I’ll ask again
Goal: Build a stronger network of clients
Update: I truly felt that this was successful at the weekend there. Very pleased with how this has progressed this year.
Goal: Attend at least 1 new training course
Goal has been canned due to work requirements changing.
Relationships
Goal: Spend more 1-2-1 time with my gran - Done
Update: Seeing her this Thursday which I’m really looking forward to. We’re now in a routine and we see each other lots more than this time last year. Goal achieved.
Goal: Visit my Dad at least 6 times - DONE
Update: I’m on track to see him more than this actually. Can consider this done!
Goal: Organise social events with my cousins - Done
Update: We’re all going out for dinner later this month which will be a good laugh. As always, I’ll need to be clever with my cash.
Goal: See my friends children more often
Update: Considering my other relationship goals are going well, this needs looking it. I will look to address this soon.
Self
Goal: Start learning Spanish (again) - DONE
Goal: Live on a ketogenic diet
Update: I went in head first to this and my knowledge on diet has increased. I’ve learned things which will stick with me forever and my diet preferences have also changed.
Goal: Buy a house/flat - DONE
Goal: Save an emergency fund of £1k
Update: With so many outgoings including saving for events in the future, it’s hard to put money away into savings. This will only get easier as time passed by and these events come and go. I couldn’t afford to budget anything this month, which is disappointing but will look to remedy that in future.
Goal: Read 10 books (2 out of 10 so far)
Update: I read a full book when I was on holiday and my colleague has kindly gifted me another which I’ll start tonight.
Goal: Eat out less
Update: I’ve already been out for a Chinese for a leaving dinner and I’ve got my aforementioned cousins dinner later. Still, a lot less than what I used to do.
With 2 months left of 2017, I better get reading some books. Aside from that I'm pleased with my progress so far and will aim to tick off as many as possible.0
