It is not far from Birmingham Airport if you look on Drayton Manor website under the location tab it gives you details of the bus service that runs from Birmingham. Hotels wise there are two hotels at Drayton Manor - Drayton Manor and Drayton court hotel both have reasonable reviews on tripadvisor there is a premier inn and holiday inn express just over a mile away as well.

Drayton Manor is good and Thomas Land is fun for the little ones. My LO enjoyed it when we went.

Are you going to hire a car?

If not, you can take arriva bus 110.

I suggest you can get a hotel on the bus route.

Do you go anywhere else apart from Drayton Manor?

Only planning on Drayton manor, so far anyway, Not sure if it would be worth hiring a car unless we were going travel around much

How many days are you plan to visit overall?

If you only go to Drayton Manor, probably stay around Tamworth.

Or if you have few days, you can stay at Birmingham and travel to Drayton Manor on the day you visit.

Looking at two nights just possibly 3, I'll have to look at hotels around Tamworth drayton manor itself is £110 per night for a family room ,but then that's maybe standard in the area

Not sure if its relevant from NI - but do you have Tesco Clubcard - we go to Drayton every year and use Clubcard deals to get the tickets.

It is a superb day - try and pick outside of core kids holidays and its brilliant - no queues.

    £110 seems too expensive. i checked hotel.com. it is £88 non-refundable.

There are other hotels in Tamworth for £60 - 70. Call a taxi on the day you visit Drayton Manor
