0% purchase credit cards - eligibility check

I am considering applying for a credit card with a long 0% offer on purchases. I have used the handy eligibility checker on this site and three others. This sites checker and two others say I have a 70% chance of my application being successful for a card a want, which is great. I then checked Noddles eligibility checker which told me that nobody with a credit file similar to mine is successful when applying for this credit card.
This has really confused me, should I apply or not?
I have checked my credit file with Noddle, Experian and clearscore recently and I have a good credit file that presents no problems such as defaults on payments etc.
any feedback is much appreciated. :j

I'd also give it a go.
I've found differences between MSE's checker and the likes of Noddle. Clearscore quote me as something like an 80% of acceptance with MBNA despite MBNA's tool 'declining' me.It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I agree 'Give it a go'.
If you have no missed payments, a reasonable length credit history to show that you can handle credit responsibly, and you do not already have too much debt. Then you should have a good chance of being accepted. Although there are never any guarantees.
Best of luck!0 -
I tried this tool and was shown a 40% acceptance, I did my application over the phone as they ask more detailed questions and can clear something up easier than online. I was accepted. Halifax Clarity reward card. Now I get £5 as long as £1000 goes into my halifax current account and spend £300 a month on my credit card, consider paying council tax, petrol, food and spending, bills are classed as purchased, if you can bump it up to £300 you will be rewarded with £5 a month!Sold over £1500 worth of tat hanging around, switched banks, rewarded for spending on Credit cards, cancelled unused subscriptions...Over £8000 better off over 30 months...AIMING FOR DEBT FREE BY JULY 2018!!:T:T0
