Diesel Injector Leak
Hi all,
I have a problem with injector #2 in my Citroen Berlingo 1.6 HDI, year 2008. I have noticed that the injector is leaking with diesel around the injector. All seals and washers were changed, the injector itself was changed as well, fuel back lines and hard lines were also checked, but still the problem exists with a weird engine noise.
Any ideas please!

A chugging noise I bet?
When the injector seal was changed (thick copper washer) was the seat cleaned? There are special tools for it. As well as the surrounding area cleaned? If not the carbon build up will never allow a proper seal and it'll chug away.
Transit vans are bloody awful for it!! Takes hours to clean also - then of course the risk of damaging the now brittle plastic leakoff pipes as some are.0 -
Thank you for your reply. The injector bore and surrounding were cleaned with benzine and cloth only.
As for the noise, its abnormal noise, but its not exactly chugging noise.0
