New credit card advice

in Credit cards
Hi All,
I am in the tricky position of needing a new credit card and not knowing which to go for.
I currently have 2 cards. 1 student barclay card with a limit of 350pounds which i need to pay off and a mbna card with a 3200pounds limit of which i owe nothing. I had some pretty tricky times whilst at university (1 yr ago) and had to make a couple of late payments on my barclay card as a result and the interest free period on my mbna is soon to come to an end.
I would like to get rid of both of these cards a go for a card with a high limit (As i work abroad and need to cover flights and hotel stays with it) which offers rewards and will helps imrove my credit rating (which i would say is average/good credit score of 958/1000). I have a pretty good salary (30,000 plus a (salary * 1.5) bonus for working abroad) if that makes a difference.
Does anyone have any advice of what to try?

egg are generous with limits but the egg money card may be better as it gives 1% cashback but limits are much much lower so you may need to put it into credit to afford your travelling costs.
This poll of limits may also help http://www.stoozing.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?num=11226298090
