Anyone switched using Swuto?

Anybody used Swuto for switching energy suppliers? They look the same as the energy club...that new thing of automatic searching and switching. I have used neither yet, but have signed up for swuto. I have an exit fee so need to wait, but gives me time to see if they good or not...and see what other people say about them on here. I used their referral though

Swuto continuously compares your energy bill. When you can save money, we help you switch, for free. Why use Swuto, they don't give you cashback for switching!
  • Who gives cashback, and how does that work? I am quite the newbie with switching...

Most suppliers offer comparison sites a referral fee. It is up to the owners of the site whether or not they are prepared to part-share the referral fee with you - the customer. This is known as a cash back. Many of the smaller suppliers - usually those with the best deals - no longer offer referral fee. In such circumstances, imho, it is better to sign up on the supplier's website. It is one less administrative thing to go wrong. I am with Zog for gas and GBEnergy for electricity. Neither supplier offers cash back. I signed up with both suppliers directly. The transfer and billing has to date been excellent.
