Use Thunderbird on several different computers.
Everything works fine inbox / sent box etc all seem to 'sync' if thats the right word. What I mean is items sent etc on one computer all appear on the other computers.
Except my address book does not seem to 'sync'
Any ideas why not ??

The email syncs because you are using an IMAP email login. That is what it is designed to do.
Your address books are stored on each individual computer, not on your email server, so they do not sync.0 -
Yes thats what I thought.
So apart from using something like gmail there is no way of syncing them.0 -
Have a play with addons (sorry, I cannot recommend any)...

I use Sogo Connector to sync my contacts with a CardDAV server (owncloud). My laptop and phone sync with the same server.
