Checkmyfile.com why so little mention?

I've heard of checkmyfile.com before but never bothered with it but looking at the site this morning I see they do a 30 day free trail and also that they provide multi agency reports. All sounds good in principle so why so little mention of them? Anyone know what CRA's they include and any reason to avoid them?

They don't include credit account data from Experian, just public records, which makes their reports not hugely useful compared to other services. Or not really useful at all on many cases.
Also, historically, it has seemed to me from accounts, that the data they get or their processing of it sets some delays on data being up to date and sometimes errors and inaccuracies compared to what the actual original CRA holds.
You are much better off getting your £2 report from Experian every so often, and using the free monthly Equifax/Callcredit reports from Clearscore/NoddleFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Using check my file is pointless, go direct to the source, especially as you can view Equifax and Callcredit for free.0

I've been using checkmyfile for a few years, during sc dmp.
Their service is miles ahead of clearscore and noodle.
And the UI is of the highest standard.
Check my file is the only monthly report, I honestly don't mind paying for.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

http://www.checkmyfile.com/credit-report.htm:Click on any account to see really comprehensive details, as reported on your Callcredit and Equifax Credit Reports, enabling you to explore the balance, limit and repayment history.
You can check your Callcredit report for free at https://www.noddle.co.uk/.
You can check your Equifax report for free at https://www.clearscore.com/.
It's not very MSE to pay £8.99 a month for something you can get elsewhere free.
Some of their Trustpilot reviews are amusing:I've been with other credit report agencies before and most recently I've tried out a different (free) one. However, the credit score that appeared on the screen cannot be compared to the detailed report provided by CheckMyFile, which btw. has shown the correct credit score, while the other (free) one gave me a pretty negative credit rating.

I've tried to get this resolved last year, but somehow it's still on my credit record... other than this issue, I've got no complaints :-)0 -

OK thanks all, doesn't seem like there is much point in signing up.0

noodle is ages from up to date information.
clearcscore isn't bad nice UI though certainly not up to date
I compare checkmyfile with sc dmp statements, outstanding balance are recorded accurately via checkmyfile, at a cost for subs which I don't mind paying as my finances slowly improve since 2012;)Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. I can't understand why anyone would want to pay'checkmyfile' £8.99 a month (over £100 a year!) when they can check their credit history for free via Noddle and Clearscore.0 -

Creditors tend to only update the CRAs once a month.
Checkmyfile doesn't offer a live feed from the CRAs. As with Noddle and Clearscore you only get a monthly snapshot.
http://www.checkmyfile.com/terms.htm:6. You can view your latest credit report as often as you wish. If you are a subscriber, you cannot update credit reports more frequently than once a month. This is because the credit history you see on credit reports is provided by lenders who send an update of the status of accounts reported on your credit report to the credit reference agencies not more frequently than once each month.0
