Just obtained a new graphic card. It requires to pcie plugs to play. I have only one avaiable. Is there an adaptor that is one 6 pin plug to two sockets? Thanks in advance.

Your power supply wont deliver the required power over a single cable, you cant just split it unfortunaly.
Some cards used come with Molex converters but this isn't recommended for high power draw cards so if it didn't come with any I wouldn't bother.
Honestly I would say buy a new PSU with multiple pcie outs, esp if you have a high power draw card. because you don't really want it catch fire and the psu might not be able to power it anyway.0 -
What RobTang said isn't entirely correct. Some older power supplies only came with one PCIe power connector yet have a good power rating.
What is the make and model of your current power supply and which graphic card have you bought? This information will let us know whether or not your existing PSU is capable of powering your graphic card with another adapter.0 -
My new card is a geforce gtx 760. The psu is a Evo pentium 4 e- 750br. The spec of the psu says it comes with 3 pcie plugs but I can only find one. Quotes a 750 watt output.0

Is that a modular PSU? If so, what's happened to the other cables?
Otherwise get a molex-pci combiner0 -
The card will usually have a recommended output on the 12v rail, check the sticker on your PSU and see if it meets the minimum spec.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

According to Nvidia's spec page, the card's maximum power is 170 watts - converted into amps on the 12v rail, this works out at a almost 14.2 amps.
First impressions from Googling the power supply is that it's cheap and cheerful.
I can't say with any certainty that the PSU will handle the graphic card, as the maximum current on the 12v rail is 22A. In theory it should work, as long as you don't have many other components in your PC.0 -
Think it will run it OK but confused they advertise 3 pci sockets when I only have one.0
