Built in tv aerial wall socket..how do I use them help?

Hi, is there anyone with electrical or tech knowledge can help me. I have moved into a new build bungalow and we have aerial sockets it's says tv and fm.. We been told we can't have sky so we got virgin installed in living room but bedrooms got tv's with freeview built in but using indoor aerial. Can someone help as we not sure what the sockets for or how to use them.?

    The FM is for if you want to plug in a radio so ignore that part of the socket unless you've go a radio with external aerial input.. You'll need patch cable to go between the wall plate and Tv ou want something like this for every Tv

    I think that you should assume that you can't make use of these sockets until you connect an aerial to the other end of the cables which will be coiled up in the loft ready to be utilised.

    If you can't install an aerial yourself then you will need a man who can.

    I suspect that if you stick your head in the loft an aerial will already be there be Rubidium right check that there is .

    If you are happy with just Freeview in your bedroom then you just plug an aerial lead from the TV into the Wall socket. If it doesn't work check the loft to see if there is an aerial.

    If you are wanting something more than freeview in your bedroom you will probably have to pay Virgin for another box and let them hook it up
