Hi all
I am making a pork onions, honey, apple juice and mustard dish in the slow cooker. The recipe calls for crème fraiche to be added 30 mins before the end of cooking. I have some double cream to use up so can I add this instead?
Thanks
Gintot

I would use the cream, if u think it needs a bit of a lift add a squirt of lemon juice at the end of cooking0

I always used to use cream instead of creme fraiche, it's a softer taste but still delicious
I use low fat creme fraiche now because of the calorie difference, either will work well.

Hi all
I got the recipe from the list at the beginning of the March grocery challenge thread. Have a look as there are some good recipes there. This recipe can also be done on the hob with less liquid. Just check under P as the recipes are listed alphabetically. HTH.
Any problems get back to me and I will try and post the recipe on here.
