Has just switched off Demand 5, and we can't get ITV player - and now it's telling us we're losing 3D on 15th March. Is there anything we can do about this? Hubby watches tv not me so I don't know if maybe he should be updating it or something? He's moaning like hell about it so please help :D

I don't think you are losing 3D, just the 3D demo in the smart hub. They do seem to be dropping a lot of the smart services recently, I noticed Skype was going too, not that I ever used it.

Demand 5 and ITV Player are still working on mine but it has changed the menu completely recently, not user friendly at all
  • Smart features on tvs are worthless, they don't get supported and stuff disappears very quickly. That's just the industry unfortunately.

    Tell him is not lost.

I'd look at getting something like a fire tv stick, a now tv box or a Roku box.

Depending on what catch up services he uses he might be better off with device than the other.

Google chromecast might be an option.

The problem with anything that works through the router is that we are out in the wilds and haven't got terrific broadband and streaming on the laptops always hangs and freezes. I will get him to look harder for demand5 or My Five or whatever hell it's called. Thank god I don't watch tv..
