its not unknown for mercs and volvos to do major milage 1,000,000 + but i dont know is there are any records out there, anything old enough to do that kind of milage could also get clocked easily.

LOL yer, I guess this is true if you keep replacing parts, but then when you've replace nearly everything, is it still the same car?

Reminds me of Only Fools and Horses when Trigger shows off the medal which he was awarded by the local council for having used the 'same' brush for the past 20 years. He then holds up the brush and claims "Maintained it for 20 years. This old broom's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time"
