Hi This is the first time i have ever posted anything on here so forgive me if I have got things wrong! Heroes...it's the nearest thing to bing positive I can do rather than crying continually!

In a nutshell I tried to purchase tickets using my credit card to GET ME IN (Ticketmaster) however, when nearing completion of the transaction I got an ERROR OCCURRED MESSAGE and was asked to check details and try again...I did this again and came out of transaction and tried again following same procedure , only to get same message. I came out of GET ME IN website and bought tickets elsewhere . Subsequently I have now been charged twice (total nearly £300 for tickets I don't need and as far as I was aware were not legal transactions because of ERROR OCCURRED message.

MBNA (credit card) were very helpful and have launched dispute on my behalf but GET ME IN are not for budging...MBNA will continue to try however, because of the type of merchant it is it's considered a weak case. Apparently section 75? of an ACT ?/doesn't cover me in this type of scenario.....I am therefore wondering if anybody has any advice please? Very upset doesn't cover it!

ooh and concert is in less than 3 weeks and merchant has 45 days to decide whether they will settle dispute and pay back (only if MBNA put more pressure on them I think)..so I could be in a position where I am receiving tickets that I don't want and they come before dispute is decided one way or another...am very confused.
Advice greatly appreciated please

Did they say why S75 doesn't apply?

You say "tickets", what was the individual ticket price? S75 doesn't apply if the "item price" is less than £100. If over £100, S75 could apply....

Of course, "chareback" could apply anyway, which is no doubt what MBNA are trying.
