C30 Concrete - North London

I am looking for 4.5 cubic metres of C30 concrete in North London. I have been quoted £600 by cemex but its the only one I have been given though I have contacted 6 firms.

Can someone recommend other suppliers?

sounds about right, but seems strange that you haven't been given prices.
Every company I have ever phoned gives you a price there and then over the phone.

Just a note.The price doesn't seem excessive.Concrete loads are usually 6m3 so you pay for 1.5m3 of "air"
Even main contractors pay for this unless they have agreements for no part load charges when at least 6m3 plus is ordered for a pour.
They also may charge for waiting time over 30 mins so make sure all this is tied up.(4.5m3 of concrete weighs 11t+)
I have personally been involved with bridge deck pours involving 400m3+ when pre-planning is essential,plants opening out of hours,weather forecasts ETC the lads were still power floating at midnight.
