Help To Get My Money Back From Hsbc

Hi

Can someone please help me to get my money back.

Will keep the story short. I have transferred money from my saving account to my HSBC credit card last week as I am going to get aN engagement ring for my girlfriend. But on Saturday when I visit the jeweller they have agree to give me almost 10% off if I pay cash. As saving every penny now will go towards our wedding, I am very keen to pay cash instead, but the problem is I really don’t know how to get the money back from the credit card account.

Thanks very much for the help.

G Lee

As you've a positive balance you could draw money each day at ATM's but you'll probably be charged each day you make the maximum withdrawal.

I'd call them before hand to:

Ask them how much it's going to cost you (Unless you've got the T&C's handy) as you've a positive balance

Warn them that you will be drawing the daily max and not to block your card. I'd expect it'll cost you about £2.50 per day to draw your money.

Call them and ask though. Just a suggestion.

Oh, and congratulations hope it all goes well.

Call the HSBC credit card helpline and ask them if they can send the money back to your current/savings account (or to send you a cheque for the positive balance if not)

  • Ask hsbc to return it to source if you have a few days then you wont incur charges on it

If its a serious question your son has to fill out an application form which will decide how much he is entitled too off treatment

be warned though unless his/your income is extremely low he will prob still have to pay the first few hundred pounds of each treatment

My earnings were 400 a month and i have to pay the first 236 of each treatment before i get any assistance
