Broken Electric Meter

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well.
Today I submitted meter readings only to discover they are exactly the same as they were the last time I submitted readings.
I pay direct debit and was expecting to discover I was due a rebate but I'm now unsure of what will take place.
Has this happen to anyone before? If so can you please let me know what the process will be to calculate what I owe?
I've worked hard to reduce the energy I use but it all seems pointless now.
Thanks in advance.

Yes its happened to many many thousands, indeed a colleague emailed a stopped Sangamo Weston photo in Doncaster to me today..He restarted that particular meter with a good solid thump to its side. The correct thing to do is inform the supplier who hopefully should arrange a new meter installation. The supplier normally bills an estimated bill based on either past or future usage, or if its a Sangamo Weston..hit it with the side of your fist and it will restart, ( the blank digit on the single kwhr index will drop away somewhere )
This is usually an electric meter problem.I ve not come across many , or can t recognise, a stopped gas meter unless its been fiddled.0
