I was in Lidl today and decided to buy some Easter Chocolate for various family members.
A couple of the bunnys had had a mishap - broken ears etc so when I was at the till I joked about the poor old bunnys getting moshed.
Chap told me they give food to charity 3 times per week and if at store closing time when they came to inspect the damaged bunnies would go to charity too.
He smiled and said they might enjoy a bit of chocolate.
Now is that not just lovely?
I had no idea that Lidl did this, I think it fantastic.
And obviously it has not been just some publicity thing because who knew?

Awww that's lovely.
I do like it when stores do that. Tesco have just started now, but have made a big deal about it to get the publicity. Way to go Lidl!0 -
