You also mentioned end of Mch FiT, but I don't think the FiT drops much each quarter. I'll find the figures.
Edit: Here you go, they drop a little each qtr from 4.39p Qtr1 2016 to 3.55p Q1 2019. So no real rush to beat each drop. However, worth noting that the maximum deployment each qtr is quite small, and once used up, your install goes into a queue till 'space' is available in a future qtr. So far deployment has been below max, and the spare gets carried forward into the next qtr. M.
Mart.
Hi Mart, sorry yeah I didn't think it was aimed at me was kinda agreeing in a way with you that as you say he should know that its not right and selling it as more is very underhanded. I'm beginning to feel that they are just using the end of the quarter as a bluff to rush people into systems, as they made out that the actually FiT was coming to an end and that any installs after April wouldn't be entitled to any payments other then what you sold back to the network.0 -
I too clicked a link on facebook with Martin's face on it talking about government grants available for solar. It took me to a website with very little information but a contact form to fill out.
The next day I had a phone call from someone at Saint Solar offering to come and visit and give an assessment and a quote.
I arrange for the visit and a young gentleman came round last night. He quoted me all sorts of numbers and told me that I could pay off £6000k installation fee over a few years and I'd be into profit after 1 year. I told him I thought it was too good to be true so asked him to put everything into an official email so I have it in writing. He even claimed those numbers were guaranteed. He wasn't pushy at all and I explained I wanted all the small print before making a decision.
I'm really intrigued to see if this email does materialise! If it does I'll put the detail on here for some rigorous scrutiny!0
