Advice needed - Store cards Balance transfers ?

Hi

Seriously need advice

Does anyone know who accepts Argos store card for a balance transfer?

I thought i had planned it well when moving my money around on balance transfers , and when I went to do my last one today the bank said we do not accept Argos Store cards for transfer..had I known that wouldn't of done all the others..lol...any ways I'm stuck at moment to what to do.

I searched online to see what credit cards did and before I applied phone that bank to double check only to be told no we stopped doing it 6 months ago. 3 banks said this and last one said we only accept store cards if they have ' Amex' 'Visa' 'MasterCard' on them.

News to me , so now I don't know where to go .

Any advice much appreciated as interest on card is so high! Thankyou

Looks like you need a card offering Money Transfers.

Barclay has taken over Argos but seems other credit card companies still don't want to deal with them..

"Money transfer" is a special sort of BT that some BT cards offer.

hi, why do you wanna do a balance transfer from a Argos card because interest on the argos card is very high itself and there are no good deals on it for long term

MBNA or Virgin do money transfer cards... as Grumbler says, this is what you need.

I'm wanting to transfer my the balance of my Argos to a 0% credit card , all of my credit card companies say they won't deal will Argos..

I will check out virgin balance transfers ..

A money transfer card allows you to transfer a certain amount to your current account. Once the money is in your bank, you can use it to pay off your Argos card (or spend it on something else).

Just want to transfer the Argos debt to a 0% interest credit card , interest on this Argos card is massive...out of £50 ..£35 is taken as interest!!!
