Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a company that supplies standalone workshop/garages. From renovating our house we have lost most of the storage space (long story, but planned) so need a new, detached building for tools, bikes, garden equipment etc. We have a large space for such a building so need some good options.

Building something in breeze blocks and render will be much stronger and will look better than buying some kind of pre-fab kit.

The cost won't be too different either I expect, especially if you are looking for a simple box-like building and are not worried about insulating it.

I agree with dominoman. A single skin, block built 'shed' will be similar in price to a prefab garage but will be easier to work on in the future. Should you ever with to convert it this will also make this easier.
