What AntiVirus/Internet security suite does the PC have? - cos it certainly does not work and the rest of us want to avoid it.0

There's something listed in control panel as Trend Micro Titanium Internet security but I don't see any icons to open it and nothing in the system tray. So probably been running with out one, windows defender and firewall are turned on though :wall:

DO NOT just rely on MBAM to clear this (good as it is, no single tool will get everything). Also use Adwcleaner and JRT on it, both available from bleepingcomputer.com.. You will need to clear all temp files (windows disk cleanup AND Ccleaner for best coverage) and manually reset all browsers for homepage, toolbars and search engines....
...you'd be surprised how many re-infections can occur if you don't do a full removal job...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
