Parana Wood DIY Advice

Hello All,
I have been given a really nice dining table.
It has some kind of polyurethane on it.
What I would like to do is sand it down and oil it.
Could any of you clever DIY boffins out there recommend an oil to bring out its lovely grain, and also advise how I do this correctly.
Thank you x

I'd sand it carefully using an orbital sander and then apply something like Sadolin wood oil, or even just some linseed oil.
Try the oil out on a small area (underside of the table) if you can to check it is the look you are after.
Parana pine is a lovely wood, and not one you see very often.0
