    I would ask him if he wants to add his Girlfriend as a joint tenant, or as a "permitted occupier".

    He may not want her to have the same rights as him. He might want to give her a lodgers agreement.

    Check your buildings insurance. My BTL insurance requires all adults are named on tenancy agreement as one or the other.

    My BTL has a family where we have the mother as the Tenant, her dad as the guarantor, and the father of her youngest child as a permitted occupier.

    Don't ask how paranoid following a previous relationship breakdown she appears to be.

    But no skin off my nose. They pay the rent, and if they stop I'll chase her dad, and if they break up, she can ask her partner to leave and I assume the police will back her up on that as he's not a tenant, just a permitted occupier. :rotfl:

    My God ? Well for a while it was the great god General Motors 1.8e 8V but now it's probably the ground my wife walks upon. :rotfl:
