Breakdown with no cover - how much?

Roadside assistance not a member? Can anyone tell me how much each of the main roadside companies in the UK charge for Roadside assistance when you are not a member?

    Depends where and when. 3am on the motorway then it maybe £200 for a short tow.

    iirc rac/aa charge a breakdown fee plus membership.. circa £150-200
    best off joining before you breakdown..

    if you're currently stranded etc, then RAC will cover you for roadside assistance the second you take out a policy
