Defaults Disappeared From Credit File

A number of defaults that were previously showing on my noddle credit report suddenly aren't. The default dates weren't 6+ years ago so it can't be due to statute barred.

They don't show and never showed on my clearscore report. They did show on Experian but I haven't had access since my trial expired.

Are there any reasons why a default would just vanish?

    Yes.

During the process of a debt being re-assigned / sold it will often disappear for a while before reappearing.

The default date must remain the same but the creditor name will change (probably to a Debt Collection Agency)
