Boiler condensate pump vs soakaway

Hi all,
I am getting a new boiler installed, and have been given quotes for both a condensate pump for the run-off to go via lead pipe to my bathroom and be disposed from there, and a soakaway outside the flat. The need has arisen as I'm in a ground floor flat with no external drains nearby.
A couple of the plumbers who gave me quotes said that the condensate pump is very noisy and as it is in the corner of the living room did not recommend this. I appreciate it is likely to vary by brand etc, but in general does anyone know if the condensate pump is loud and how regular the noise is?
Similarly, if anyone has any general thoughts on the condensate pump vs soakaway I would be glad to have them.
Thanks!

why can't it be run into the internal waste water pipes in the flat0

It can't go via lead or any other metal pipe it must be in plasticI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

It's all in the pronunciation, maybe....? As in leading a pipe to the bathroom?0 -

A soakaway and external pipe may well have issues with winter weather.
Do we take it the position of the boiler relative to the bathroom prohibits simple gravity feed of the condensate pipe? i.e. install the boiler above the level of the waste pipes, and let gravity drain the condensate away...0 -
Why can't you replace the lead waste?0

sorry for the confusion, i did mean "leading" as opposed to the metal lead.
the boiler is situated too far away from the bathroom to run directly to the internal waste pipes without a condensate pump to help it along (apparently). it will be a lot of work to pull up the floor boards to run it under the floorboards (due to the type of wooden floors) so the engineer suggested the pump to essentially push it up and above the internal doors to the bathroom.
it's mostly the noise that concerns me...as all the engineers could say is that it would be "intermittent" and nothing more specific in terms of how often (as I guess it depends how often it fills up) and if it will be loud enough to cause a disturbance0
