My mother was always known by her middle name but all her documents were in her full name. Since these are only used a written documents it didn't matter.
My sister has always been known by a name made up by taking the first two letters of her name and the last two letters of her name.
Again her official documents are in her registered name which she has never used.
A birth certificate can only be changed in specific circumstances which wouldn't apply here so she would need to change her name by Deed Poll and presumably drop her first name.0 -
Judging by my sons school register, there will be lots of children growing up wanting to change their forename from something less chavvy.. (either a ridiculous name in itself or a nomal name deliberately mispelled just to try and be different)."The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money"0
