Which Masters to do

Ok, so now I can get funding for a masters, I'm spoit for choice.
I'm a lecturer in an FE college, so the obvious one is education. Currently looking at the Educational Innovation P/T at Warwick, or possibly Education in Leadership. Or study at Oxford Brookes. I'd quite like to progress so this seems to be a no brainer.
However, my specialty is Tourism(with business management) and I could do an MSc in International Hospitality & Tourism at either Oxford Brookes or University College Birmingham. I live in Coventry so either is doable by public transport. I teach levels 2/3 in Tourism & Hospitality so this would help with my teaching/CPD.
I did my PGCE at OB and it did bore me, whereas my degree at UCB kept my interest throughout the 4 years I was there.
Gahhhh! I just can't decide. I've put my name down for open days at all 3 unis to see if that will help.
At the end of the day I can't decide between progressing my career (currently 50 so what hope there?) and dull as dishwater, or something that will be interesting, exciting & enjoyable and basically just for my own self interest.
Any help???

Something you are interested in and enjoy seems to be the answer.0

If you were bored doing your PGCE (as I was) it doesn't bode well for doing a Masters in an education related field.0

I agree with MissBiggles, I have a PGCE Early years and a Masters in Education and the MA was most certainly drier and more narrowly focuses than the PGCE. I'm deciding at the moment on doing another Masters through the Open university just for the sake of learning something and keeping my brain active. There are a few options for me, so I read the module descriptors for each option and will make my decision based on this informationOnly two people away from a threesome :grouphug:£2017 in 2017 = 0

Well I got an unconditional offer for my Ma p/t in Tourism Destination Management in Birmingham and I have enrolment on Monday 12th:j:j
Told my HoD, went over my line managers head as I just know she would refuse to change my timetable. HoD is delighted and has said they will make changes to my current timetable if necessary ( I won't find out my timetable as student until enrolment), as my college are looking to expand the degree offering into tourism and need the higher levels from staff. Saves recruitment costs if they already have someone on board. Plus our qualifying body wants subject qualified teachers.
I also spent my summer doing voluntary industry experience at the local TIC so I'm in good books all round.
I am so looking forward to going back to uni. It's going to be hard but I've only been away from HE for 9 years, and then taught it for 3 :rotfl: and I only teach 3 days a week. I'll just get used to a one day weekend for the next few years.Noli nothis permittere te terere
