Hi All,
I need to plaster a wall which has external corners. I have seen in several online videos that plastering bead are used for such corners, however I was wondering whether you can plaster corners without beads. If beads are really necessary do you recommended sticking them to walls using nails or glue?
Thanks

Internal with multi / board Finish?
Can I do it with out a bead, yes but it is not worth the aggro.
Stick it on with the plaster, spread the first coat, push the bead on tidy it up, wait for it to pull in then lay it down, spread second coat, set and polish.0 -

Use galvanised plasterboard nails.0 -
Isn't it marbellous that a person with no knowledge of plastering who is taking his lessons from youtube starts to question what professionals have been doing for decades.
