If the name of the system was deliberately chosen to remind IQ, they seem to have forgotten to include "0" or "zero" into it.

    Yes, I think they have.

Here's some of the marketing gobbledegook from the Experian website:

Real-time verification without disrupting the customer journey :rotfl:

Our solutions help you operate responsibly and offer your customers a streamlined experience
    :rotfl:

And also liberal use of the word "solution" throughout web pages.

Food for thought - if Experian and others of their ilk suddenly ceased to exist, would the world be a better place? I think so.

I get the same sort of questions through Safepay (or whatever the thing is called to verify debit card payments online).

I agree with the OP and believe me through my years have had to validate security with different lenders. TSB were awful when they questioned me for ages because I wanted to simply move money out of my account to another in my OWN name. The process was random and very intrusive and frankly none of their business. Of course when I deposit high sums in any of my bank accounts including once six figures, the bank never called! Funny that !

One security question that my bank have asked me on more than one occasion is to read out a list of names (including a 'none of the above' option) and ask me which of these individuals I have ever lived with. Amongst the list of names is my own name. I give this as the answer and it passes the security check. I have asked if this is a trick question and have been assured that they don't ask trick questions.

Good luck, Santander is the only bank I've ever had a very similar problem with.;)
