Equifax/clearscore data issues

I held a subcription with Equifax which I ended in 2014, however before doing so, I contacted them to report a fraudulent association on my account which they duly removed and confirmed by letter.

I have recently seen this association on my clearscore account which was not even open at that time!

I have emailed Equifax outlining the above and asking how this could have been possible? but they haven't yet bothered to reply.

There is no pointgoing to clearscore as they report data as provided by Equifax, but the whole thing is a glaring example of how the systems are often overwritten manually or their assurancse of following their own protocols are hollow.

Summary: Association removed, verified online and confirmed in writing. Checked again, subcription cancelled. 18month later clearscore joined, association showing.

Any ideas on how to get this TRULY removed from my file. I am not writing etc again. They have records and I have their original written confirmation. TIA

Are you sure it's the same association you disputed? Could be created again by more fraud. If it's removed by Clearscore it'll be removed by Equifax as they are accessing their data.

    Yes absolutely certain.

Equifax supply the data. It was supposedly removed by Equifax long ago, yet it has winged its way to Clearscore. If removed, how did get there? and how can they reassure me it will be removed in the future - as opposed to some temporary disappearing act whilst I am checking they do as they say?

I take/have no issue with clearscore in that regard as they are just party to the data content.
