Final 12 months

Options
I am now in my final 12 moths of my IVA. What do I need to do?

Does my IP do anything apart from send me the completion certificate?

    Hi greenbrucelee

Most IPs will hold some sort of review every 12 months just to check whether any changes in contributions are in order - has yours mentioned one?

Are there any PPI claims dragging on? This is one of the more common issues in delaying IVA completion.

If there are no good reasons to delay issuing a completion certificate the IP should do so as promptly as possible, though practice can vary between providers in this regard.

    I do a review every 12 months.

Clydesdale are dragging their butts over a ppi claim, I have been into the branch 3 times to get my identity certified by them all other ppi claims have been done..

    I am with payplan btw.

PPI should no longer delay awarding a certificate.
Rules changed last year after a court case and PPI claims can continue without delaying the completion process
