Provisionally accepted loan, pending documents
Hi everyone I hope someone can help me!
I've been provisionally accepted a loan with the post office pending me sending 4 documents off to them. I can consolidate my current loan and credit card and save approx £2500 in interest.. Not pocket money!
However I've only realised today that when asked my monthly rent expenses I put half the amount it should have been It was a genuine mistake when I was working It out in my head as me and my wife split it. I put £98 (which is my share per fortnight) and it should have been £196. I was wonder if I out a highlighted note in with the documents, outlining my mistake, is that likely to be sufficient, or am I doomed?
Also, as I get paid weekly and the majority of my bills are monthly, I have a spreadsheet that I update every pay day to show how much that week I need to keep for each bill, and how much needs to be kept back overall for my bills. It may be unorthodox but it works and keeps my finances in check. I was thinking of including a copy of it with the documents, just to show that I manage my money sensibly. I know they haven't asked for anything like that, but I was wondering if that may go in my favour or would it make no difference?
Many, many thanks in advance!

Spreadsheet wont make any difference.
You need to make sure your honest and tell them about the error as you have given them the wrong information.
It may be that even with the mistake its still affordable.0 -

Yea, its more than affordable, its actually a lot less per month that what i'm paying separately for my current loan and credit card0
