Just one store -next transaction over £10 and no supervisor (same till) hence my theory there may be a random check in there somewhere.

Ooh scanning the receipt is new, is that to stop it being re-used?

Yes, plus part of the verification process as vouchers reconciled by the till and will save the cash office a job as it is more secure (I still put the voucher in the slot though I am not sure whether that is now technically required).

Thanks, decided not to go out again :)

Sorry, I am wrong.. you will be ok to shop till midnight because at midnight this "should" end at the till, and the offer will be ended.. unless it goes live as like before.

Pillgwenlly. Don't often go there, only when I visit my Mam

I used to go there about 20 years ago in the early hours to sell crabs to the angling supply shop :rotfl::rotfl:

It was interesting to say the least

Red ££ means you scanned the top barcode on the SS.. I tear that off now. As it means the SA will need to scan her card to cancel it.

Ah that's why! I usually fold it over to scan - ripping off top code is a good idea :)
