My son doesnt like them, others have said they're not keen, so what happens if no one in your house likes the pies ?
OK you paid next to nothing for them so you're alright Jack.
Why did you settle on six? Why not all eight ?
What if there were forty there, or eighty?
I genuinely want to know the logic behind the thinking, "its a great deal, so I'm gonna fill me boots". Even not having tried the product.
Scooby, I think you may have misread or misunderstood my post.
I decided on six because my DD, her OH and 2 children will be coming to dinner on Friday. So this was a perfect opportunity for us all to try them. I could be wrong but I thought that this was the point of these types of promotions. I certainly could not afford to buy 6 pies at £3.50 each. £21 for one meal:eek:
If you would like to read my post again you will see that it was "raving women" who had said "fill me boots" and not me. This was also the point that I walked away.
If anyone would like to look back through my posts you will see that it is unusual for me to relay any tales or make comments and this is exactly the reason why. It is far too easy, without facial expressions and body language for people to mis-interpret the written word. I certainly could be misunderstanding Scoobies meaning but I'm not really not sure.
I guess that, for me, it means I will not post so much (not that I do) for fear of being misunderstood.

Six is not a large amount and by my reckoning she left two for others anyway.
I love the beef and stilton but did warn that you must like stilton to others.
I have gifted one to mum, two to son in law and one to DD1 so my stash is not that big but once you have vouchers it doesnt matter coz they last till 30th april and can be redeemed on any higgidy item.
I don't like Stilton but I know a few who do  :rotfl: 6 would soon goscoobydoo66 wrote: »Whose starting a row poppet?
I see NO logic in grabbing shedloads of pies(or anything else) just because its a deal.
Its very odd to me that there are people popping into Tesko, buying a pie or two, liking them, and maybe getting a few in for stock. While others, before they even try the product are laying down supplies for a nuclear war, of stuff they might not even like.
The sort of thing "he who should not be mentioned" might do, or have done.
IF you don't see the logic maybe you don't understand the art of our way of shopping. I see it that but 6 , I don't like but know a few people who do. No harm done to anyone, not even to you.
Having a few in stock, why not, they have good dates, could be frozen. I don't notice anyone buying 'shed loads' unless it's him that's selling them down the road at the local boot sale :cool:There's no place like home

I was just going to say so myself. I noticed the last few posts seemed as though scoot trying to stir things up somewhat
I've still got Tesko burgers from a couple of years back, legs of lamb even older(DTD), lots of handwash, and Lynx(for the boy child) The wife and the girl child are almost out of Aussie shampoo and conditioner from the big ASDA glitch, but Higgidy pies I've got three, might get a couple more if I can, but I doubt I'll see any again, 'cos someone wants six, or ten every visit.
I wont cry though.0 -
