    What to do?

start checking all of your sums are correct - I noticed the other day my BS wanted £100 just to arrange a mortgage  - so make sure you have accounted for all of your fees and out goings.

if they have dropped by £10 k might it be worth a phone call to the agent to see if they would drop another £1k or £2K - my eldest just asked for a 10% discount from one company and they agreed, very easily!

Very kind and generous of you indeed, and not criticising at all and no offence is meant ...

However, unless I am mistaken this was not a free glitch, but each 3-pack cost 37p, meaning the 200 or so you donated cost you around £70+ ?

Again, it is not a criticism, maybe I am just highlighting some genuine generosity which should be applauded :T

I probably donate at least £10 of stuff to the food bank, book bank, clothing bank etc most weeks so this is only like a couple of months worth done all at once

Afternoon all hope everyone is well.

TM don't ever feel like you need to explain anything here. Everyone knows how lovely & kind you are. It shines through in every post you make xx

It would be a start... :rotfl:

Busy morning dealing with the post - EHH (Elite Husband Hire) has today received a flurry of responses, mostly from ladies volunteering their husbands. 'Here, you can have mine' appears to be a common theme. I am currently preparing a standard letter explaining that we do not as yet offer a re-homing service. :)

Top criteria is they have to be single. No temporary loans or rehoming allowed! :D:rotfl:

I don't think nectar love me anymore.

nothing on mycoupons is inspiring apart from a bar of chocolate

no till spits apart from the usual double pointers

nothing on nectar.com of any interest

Me too. They seem to be targeting my previous shopping in a slightly off-centre way. eg unsmoked bacon - I only buy smoked; medium eggs - I only buy mixed sizes; puff pastry pies - I only buy shortcrust. Oh and points on £50 spend but I'd max at around £40. So no joy there...

Just back from double up. Only did £5 on clothing. Can't believe there were no long sleeved PJs available for kids in my store. So I got jeggings, jeans and tops for them from the half price sale.

Total bill 41, less 4 MoC, less 10 DoubleUp, less 10 BM, so just £17 to pay and got BM back for 7.90 so not bad. :D

But only one till spit and it was dire... spend £30  on cleaning :eek:to get 7p litre off petrol (which they have increased price of by 3p litre in last 3 weeks.)

Mind you I have had £26 in BM in last 3 shops including today, so maybe I'm on the radar. Time to ignore them for a while. :D
